DERIVATION PROBLEM: (20 pts) Continuity Equation in Three Dimensions: Consider an infinitesimal parallelopiped of space in a fluid body. Let the sides of parallelopiped have length dx, dy and dz respectively. See Fig. 6.21 (Above). Let u, V and w be the inlet velocity components in the directions of the X, Y and Z axes. Derive the continuity equation of mass flow with density rho (1) passing through this control volume for three directions.
