An engine is fitted with a turbocharger that compresses the air before it enters the cylinders. If the flow rate of air into the engine is 0.02 kg/s and the temperature rise of the air during the compression process is 425 K, calculate the work done by the compressor on the fluid. You may assume that there is no heat transfer from the compressor to the surroundings and no significant change in the kinetic or potential energy of the air. Take the Cp for air = 1.005 kJ/kgK.
