4. (a) Outline different data requirements for hydrological sizing analysis? [5 Marks) (b) A water reservoir is designed to collect water from the adjacent catchment basin with a constant demand/month of 30 x10* m?. The table below shows the monthly records of the stream flow. Use the mass curve to determine storage size (or capacity) for a reservoir at a proposed site. (i) Can the demands be met with the available river flow? If so, how? What are the critical months?
