A. Use method of sections or method of joints to solve for the
following unknowns on the truss system shown in figure 2 below. For
tensile members, use A = 500 mm2and for compressive
members use A = 400 mm2.
Use a = 24.7 kN, b = 14.0 kN,
2.1 Axial stress in member CB in MPa. Indicate
negative if compressive stress.
