In a riveted joint, the most heavily loaded rivet has a
combination of shear stresses of Ss1=10087/A MPa and Ss2 = 25751/A
MPa, where A is the shear area of rivet in mm2 . If these stresses
are 30 degrees apart and the shear design stress of the rivets is
60 MPa, what rivet diameter in mm is necessary?
