If Y = f(X1, X2, ..., Xy), where Xi is estimated by xi with standard uncertainty u(xi) and the Xị are statistically independent with a sensitivity coefficient ci, what is the estimate y of Y and its standard uncertainty u(y) as given by the law of propagation of uncertainty (univariate LPU)?
