Question 2 : A single acme thread power screw has an input power of 5 KW at speed of 2 rev/s. The screw has diameter of 40 mm and a pitch of 10 mm . The frictional coefficients are 0.15 for the threads and 0.1 for the collar with a collar radius of 60 mm. Find the axial resisting load F and the combined efficiency of the screw and the collar ?
