Question 3 (10 marks) Consider the simple mechanical system (5+4) G(8) I (32 + kas + k) where k, and ky are positive constants. Experiments have shown that in response to sinusoidal inputs the system has the following properties: . the DC gain is unity: • the attenuation of a unit amplitude sine wave input at a frequency of 2 rad/s is 20%.
