3. Water is pumped from a large tank through a pipe system
as in the drawing to another large tank. Iron is used
cast iron pipes with a diameter of 55 mm. The pump is located
immediately behind the tank. Before discharging from the pipe
is
a fully open ball valve is located. Assuming the levels in the
tanks do not change and the pipes are constant
flow rate, determine the electrical power required by the pump to
pump 10 m3 per hour
