3. Consider the case of a ribbon cable constructed of 24-gauge wires separated a distance of 60 mils. Suppose the length of the wires is 0.5 m and that they are carrying a 30 MHz current. The level of current that will give a radiated emission in the plane of the wires and broadside to the cable (worst case) that just equals the FCC Class A limit (0.5 mV/m at 30 MHz, at a distance d=2.5m).
