* Part3: As learned from the lab material, filter circuits (low-pass, high-pass and band-pass filters) can be implemented using RLC elements or Op-Amp devices. In this part, students should design a band- pass filter to filter out a highly distorted signal to have a sinusoidal wave form output at a certain frequency Task (1-P3): Use TINA software and show clear results. Start your design with L=120 mH. Design a band-pass filter using RLC circuit with the following specifications: Cutoff frequency (fc = 800 Hz) Quality factor Q = 24 o Input signal: A square wave with 10v magnitude and 800 Hz frequency + 2v DC offset. o Output voltage must be a sinusoidal waveform with 800 Hz frequency without DC offset. Obtain the circuit signals for a suitable time interval. What is the Band-width of your filter? O Task (2-P3): Use TINA software and show clear results. Start your design with R=3.8 k 2. Design the same band-pass filter as in task (1-P3). o Use a proper voltage divider circuit at the input of the filter o Use the same input voltage as in task 2-P3. o Output voltage must be a sinusoidal waveform with 800 Hz frequency without DC offset.
