1. a) A signal is defined by y(t) = 7 sin(80nt) + 3 cos(1207t) + 5 sin(160īt). State the number of frequencies present in this signal and write down the frequencies of this signal with appropriate units. To avoid aliasing, give the two conditions to be met in designing a digitizer for a continuous-time signal. For the signal y(t) give the minimum sampling frequency for correct digitization. [6 marks]
