1. Compare 3 or more online banking applications based on
principles of HCI (Human-Computer Interaction )
2. Discuss on schneiderman golden rules and Neilsen’s heuristics
with respect to the applications taken.
Assessment Tutorial Scenario You have been appointed by Kan Bank to plan and create a prototype for their new online banking application. The bank has traditionally traded in small remote villages with a banking van that arrives generally on a weekly basis depending on the weather. However customers are now looking to do more banking online and they need more that the current limited website, which allows them to login and view their accounts. The Bank requires a mobile application designed and created to allow customers to login securely, transfer money between accounts, pay bills, and check standing orders and direct debits on the account. The Bank currently uses different colours of blue for the house style but needs a consistent style throughout all the pages that are designed. Your task is to plan and create a prototype interface for this mobile application utilising HCI principles. Activity 1 In preparation for a meeting with senior staff at the Bank produce a presentation with associated support materials which: . evaluates the principles of HCI. Introduction to HCI Principles- Perception, Norman's theory of interaction, Hick's law, Fitt's law • critiques different online/mobile online banking applications using the principles of HCI. Compare 3 or more online banking applications based on principles of HCI Discuss on schneiderman golden rules and Neilsen's heuristics with respect to the applications taken.
