Micro-hardness profiles were obtained for the tool steel, the weld zone and stainless steel. Figure 2 shows the dents on the (1) tool steel, (2) diffusion zone and (3) stainless steel. The dents on the stainless steel are larger than those on the tool steel. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Discuss this statement and justify your answer.
