A leakoff test was carried out just below a 13 3/8" casing shoe at 8000 ft true vertical depth using 10.0 ppg mud. The results of the test shows that the open hope section of the well starts the leakoff after pumping 4 bbls of mud where surface pressure is showing at 1800 psi. Calculate the maximum allowable mudweight for the open hole section. Use the following equation where necessary: Pc = 0.052 x MW X TVD Pc = hydrostatic pressure (psi), MW = mud weight (ppg), TVD = true vertical depth (ft) [4 marks] =
