Question 4: Allocated Mark: (6) Micro-hardness profiles were obtained for the tool steel, the weld zone and stainless steel. Figure 2 shows the dents on the (1) tool steel, (2) diffusion zone and (3) stainless steel. The dents on the stainless steel are larger than those on the tool steel.
