Question 12 4 pts A visitor asks, "I've heard the term 'space weather, but there can't be any weather in the vacuum of space, so what does this mean?" This is a catch-all name for weather that happens on any of the planets in the solar system other than the Earth. This is the meteorological name for the 11- year sunspot cycle. This is what we call storms that occur at the very top of the Earth's atmosphere. This is the term for different extreme activity on the Sun, often called "solar storms" that can affect the Earth's magnetosphere via charged particles that can travel through the vacuum of space.
