Reply to this post about four forces of evolution. Is their
argument valid for the characteristic mentioned in relation to the
particular force of evolution they selected? Why or why not?
Support your reply with evidence.
"Natural selection: from the name itself, those are more
better-equipped or who have the more "recent" adaptation helps them
to survive particularly during natural disasters as well as hunting
of prey, some are born/meant to be hunters (lions, tigers, bears)
meanwhile others are naturally the hunted despite it not being
their choice (hippos, buffaloes, antelopes, zebras).
Mutation: a great example here is the usual household pests
especially cockroaches, cockroaches often come out of hiding after
either massive rains or earthquakes and they're able to adapt to
said natural disasters due to them learning to adapt to their
surroundings over time; that can also be said once they're tried to
be taken care of when they are in bunches inside one's household.
Usually roaches are supposed to die on the spot or immediately
after being sprayed with insecticide however nowadays (along with a
little self-experience by yours truly), roaches don't die on the
spot that easy and it takes some time and effort in order to take
care of them. "
