Benzene:Methanol co-solvent, a positive azeotrope, has a boiling point of 54°C in its azeotrope composition. Why can the attraction between homogeneous molecules be cut off and vaporized in azeotropic composition even though the boiling point of each solvent (Benzene 80°C, MeOH 65°C) is not reached?
