This will help the client work towards doing tasks such as putting on a shirt, pants, or any other piece of clothing. The client's stage of learning is verbal cognitive, therefore will be explaining to them why it is that we will be using the theraband. For each exercise we will be doing with the theraband there will be proper information given to the client so they can understand why and how to do it. I wil show the client a few examples of the movement we will be doing first through videos and pictures and walk them through it. Then, I will begin with teaching them how to properly well as breaking it down into steps by using it myself Alter they are able to grasp this information they will begin with a simple movement with the theraband. As the perform the movement they will be given feedback as they go through trial and error. It is more ideal that the client uses a blocked practice because this will how the patient to master me ADL W will start off with the same skill to dress and for a block of time and move on once it is ideal to move onto another task The first still that will be performed with the theraband is the pulling op pants method. This will be done by first setting up the theraband by typing into a circle to the site of the client's waistband. Then the client will start with putting their be on top of the other and practicing putting one leg through the loop. For this drill, constant practice will be utilized as we will try to have them practice getting one leg in and then the other at a constant pace for more balance, stability, and safety. As for massed practice, the client will continuously do the skill putting one leg in at a time into the theraband for 10 minutes, and then me onto the next skill that is needed to be worked on. The next skill will require the client to be sitting down and put the band through both their legs Once the band on both legs they will practice standing up and pulling the band up to the extent they can. They will continue to do the task for 8 minutes in order to help increase the consistency of the skill.
