Hello I have a superposition of charges question using columbs
law. You have three charges, q1 uC, q2 uC and q3 uC. Each charges
positions are as follows, q1 is at (0, y) q2 is at
(x2, 0), and q3 is at (x3, 0).
Firstly, what is the mag and direction of the electric field at
the point (x1, 0)?
Second what is the mag and direction of force on q3?
Solve for these two questions in terms of x1 x2 y and q1, q2,
q3. Assume all are positive charges.
