Hello! For these two problems I just need some help with finding
the final algebraic equation for solving for our goal values.
In this case we have a frictionless floor with spring on
it (with spring constant k) oscillating horizontally. On the spring
is a mass (M) whose oscillations have an amplitude of (A).
What is the speed of the Mass when it is X meters away from
the springs equilibrium? Please assume there is no
dampening of the spring. Please find the algebraic solution to
answer of V at x in terms of M, K, A and X!
Joe is at a rally a distance of D meters away from a megaphone
emitting constant sound. At his position the sound intensity level
is equal to I1 dB. Joe backs away from the megaphone
until the sound intensity level he now hears is I2 dB.
How far is Joe from the megaphone assuming the megaphone
has a spherical wave front? Please solve for distance in
terms of D, I1, I2! Thank you a ton, just
needing some conceptual help.
