The water flowing through a garden hose is passed through a
nozzle and then sprayed into the air. Assume the hose is in
horizontal position and the pressure and the velocity of the water
in the hose are 3.0 x 10^5 N/m2 and 2.6 m, respectively. If the
nizzle reduces the effective area by 84% i.e., area of the nozzle
is 0.16 times area of the hose, what happens to the water pressure
and water velocity in the nozzle?
