6 (a) In a Young's double slit experiment, a yellow monochromatic light of wavelength 589 nm shines on the double slit. The separation between the slits is 0.059 mm and it is placed 1.50 m from a screen. Calculate the (1) separation between the zeroth-order maxima and first-order maxima. separation between the second-order maxima and fourth-order maxima on the screen if blue light of wavelength 412 nm strikes the double slit. [6 marks] (b) Two slits with separation of 0.10 mm are illuminated by light of wavelength 620 nm and the interference pattern is observed on a screen 4.0 m from the slits. Calculate the (i) distance of the third dark fringe from central bright. distance between the third dark fringe and the fourth bright fringe. (iii) fringe separation. [8 marks]
