Mr Cheung, 78-year-old, underwent abdominal surgery with an incision wound over the lower abdomen. He had a history of arrhythmias with Digoxin 0.125mg daily. After admission, he had an intravenous (IV) infusion on his right hand. Mr Cheung was weak, and you needed to take a bed bath for him. Before the procedure, your clinical mentor reminded you to maintain good body mechanics for yourself during the procedure. a. According to the presence of IV infusion and the post-operative condition of Mr Cheung, describe THREE nursing actions that you will do when helping him take a bed bath. b. Explain THREE reasons for a nurse to maintain good body mechanics when helping Mr Cheung take a bed bath. Digoxin is available in 62.5mcg/ tablet.
