If the input wave-amplitude spectrum is given by the white-noise
(constant amplitude) spectrum of amplitude=4m²s between 0.4 rad/s
and 1.4 rad/s, (Assume linear wave and Gaussian distribution for
random sea).
a) Find the probability that wave height is less than 5m.
b) Find the probability that the continuous sea surface
elevation is between 2m and 3m.
c) Find the most probable maximum wave height during the 2-hour
period (assume 1200 waves during this time) of such a sea
state.
