Two sites are located close to an earthquake source, as the one
illustrated in Fig.1. From geological evidence the local soil
conditions characterized by stiff clay formations. Moreover, the
attenuation relationships for the PHGA and PHGV and the value of Td
are given from the formulas below:
Ln (PHGA) = 3.88 + 1.12Ms - 1.65*ln(R+15) + 0.41S (cm/s2 )
Ln(PHGV) = -0.79 + 1.41*Ms -1.62*ln(R+10) -0.22S (cm/s)
S = 0 for soil and 1 for firm ground
LogTd = -3+ 0.5*Ms
An earthquake with Ms = 6.3 occurred from the smallest distance
for both sites. Using the damping ratio ΞΎ=2%.

sites in a tripartite logarithmic scale.
