The wooly bat is a small flying mammal that lives in tropical rainforests. During the day, wooly bat sleeps inside the bowl-shaped leaves of a certain species of pitcher plant, where it is safe from predators. The bat's feces fall into the bowl of the pitcher plant and provide the plant with a source of usable nitrogen.
