Given: Suppose you are a biochemist working this weekend. The enzyme "triose phosphate isomerase" (TPI) is one we haven't studied yet this term. It has a Km for its substrate (which is a small sugar molecule) equal to 0.25 mM. The Vmax of the enzyme in a your current study is 0.25 mM product formed per minute. The question: What is the rate of product formation if the substrate concentration is 0.25 mM?
