An embryo starts with a soft skeleton that made up of cartilage and membranes. After 6 weeks of fertilization, ossification occurs. There are two major forms of ossification, intramembranous ossification and endochondral ossification. Most of the human skeletons form by endochondral ossification. Use illustrated diagrams to explain the related ossification in forming a long bone. (10 marks)
