1a, T or F, explain
LIDAR refers to a family of techniques which can produce a
concentration profile within a fixed section of the atmosphere. In
its simplest form, the source is a continuous laser. The light is
scattered by gas molecules in the atmosphere, thus providing
different light absorption paths before detection. A typical
measurement range would be up to a few kilometres.
