10) Enzymes in the dimethylallyl tryptophan synthase (DMATS) superfamily transfer a single isoprene unit to the amino acid tryptophan from dimethylallyl pyrophosphate (DMAPP). The scheme below depicts what is called reverse prenylation at the indole nitrogen of tryptophan by DMATS1 from the fungus Fusarium fujikuroi. Using the standard, curved arrow formalism, provide a mechanism for this transformation. Be sure to show resonance structures of all intermediates. (15 points) + DMATS1 OPP +H3N- +H3N CO2 CO2
