When we were talking about images produced by a mirror it was
mentioned that you can see yourself looking into the surface of a
spoon. In how many different ways can you produce images of
yourself using the curved surface of a spoon? For example, you can
see yourself in a virtual image that is right side up in the convex
side of a spoon where the image is erect and reduced.
Innumerate each distinct type of image. Describe the image as
real or virtual and describe distinguishing features: erect,
reduced in size, etc. How far away from the spoon are you? Points
will be deducted for duplicate image descriptions. For example,
there can be only one type of image reflected off the convex side,
virtual, erect, or reduced.

outside of the text. Assume we know the four rays that can be
