V 2. A ship moves with velocity v=(31 - 2 - 4k)m/sexplodes into three pieces. Just after the explosion, the first piece of mass 2m moves with velocity 5i + jm/s and a second piece of mass 2m moves with velocity (29 -5j 2k)m/s. (a) Calculate the velocity in unit vector of the third piece of mass 3m. [3 marks] (b) Calculate the magnitude of impulse on the second piece of the ship dwing explosion if m=20,000 kg. [3 marks]
