You pop out the lenses of your sunglasses which are linear
polarizers. You hold both lenses up in a row in front of an
analyzer (i.e. two polarizers in a row followed by a device to
analyze the intensity of light). The analyzer shows that 90.0% of
the light intensity falling on the analyzer WAS ABSORBED prior to
arriving. Determine the angle between the transmission axes of the
polarizers. [3T] (Hint: the intensity of the light after BOTH
polarizers is 10% of the original light source)
