A wheel A of radius ra= 10cm is coupled by a belt to wheel B of radius rb = 25 cm. The angular speed of A is increased from rest at a constant rate of 1.6 rad/s? a) Find the time needed for wheel B to reach an angular speed of 100 rev/min, assuming that the belt does not slip. (Hint: if the belt does not slip the linear speeds at the outer edge of each wheel must be equal.) b) How many revolutions has wheel B turned through when this happens? 'B
