A mass of 1.2 kg is observed to be in SHM with an angular
frequency of 4.98 rad/s. The amplitude of the SHM is seen to
decrease over time and careful measurement shows this is due to a
damping coefficient of 0.69 N/m. How long will it take for the
amplitude of the oscillations to halve?
