Determine the maximum load PT that can be applied to the foundation (B=8ft and L=8ft).
The approach for primary consolidation is 1 inch (2.54cm).
Data obtained from the consolidation test:
The sample was extracted from an elevation of 346 ft.
Void ratio eo= 0.96
Expansion ratio er=0.03
Good compressibility index Cc=0.32
Pre-consolidation pressure P'c=0.82 Tsf
