Linda's email inbox has been overwhelmed with spam lately, so she has changed her spam filter settings so that more emails are filtered as spam. While this has reduced the number of spam emails in her inbox, an unfortunate consequence has been that more legitimate emails have also been labelled as spam. On any given day, let X denote the number of legitimate emails from friends that are labelled as spam and let y denote the number of legitimate work emails that are labelled as spam. Suppose that the relationship between X and Y is described by the following joint probability distribution: 4 20.12 x (Friend emails) 40.23 5 0.09 y (Work emails) 6 0.07 0.13 0.05 11 0.25 0.03 0.03 Calculate the expected value of Y-4.
