1 An engineering company has been appointed to review the design of the water supply infrastructure for Taung in the North West Province. The review is for the current situation and based on data given in Table 1 as well as on relevant values from The Neighbourhood Planning and Design Guide (Redbook). Planning for the stipulated design horizon will be undertaken at a later stage. A brochure from the pipe supplier is also provided. The various consumer groups have been allocated to nodes (not required for this task).
