BEAM ANALYSIS USING THE STIFFNESS METHOD HW #3: 1. Analyze the folllowing indeterminate beam assuming the structure consists of 3 elements (AB, BD and DC) and assume EI = constant for all elements. 2k/ft 12k to -24 o Construct the stiffness matrixes for all elements o Find the reaction forces at A, B and C. o Draw the Shear force and bemding moment diagrams. o Use Excell sheets to solve the problem. 2. Resolve the problem assuming that the roller at B settled downward by 1 inch.
