3.2 Wind LoadX TOT The shear wall structure of a high-rise building has 38 stories. The 1th-3th stories height is 4 m, and other stories height is 3 m, 120 m in the height from outdoor surface to eaves, 30 mx40m in the plane, and 12 m in the basement, as shown in figs. The basic wind pressure is Wo=0.45kN/m², and the construction site is located in the suburbs of big cities. The total standard value of wind load acting on the small tower projecting from roof has been calculated to be 800KN. In order to simplify the calculation, the building is divided into six sections along the height, each of which is 20m. The wind load at the middle point is approximately taken as the average value of the section. Try to calculate the shear force at the bottom and the bending moment of the structure (especially for the first floor). The basic period of structure is 1.9s.
