5) Consider a single DOF vibratory system (mass-spring-damper) with the Base having an up-n-down motion. When the base excitation frequency exceeds v2, the mass maximum amplitude to base maximum amplitude ratio (displace transmisibility) decreases as damping ratio decreases (e.g., less excitation is transmitted to the mass from the base at higher frequencies for smaller damping ratios). Intuitively explain why?
