Considering now real-life devices, perform a thermal analysis as follows. The MOSFET and diode used in the circuit are mounted onto a common heatsink using thermal washers with a thermal resistance Rc-h=2°C/W. The parameters for the MOSFET and the diode are given below. MOSFET rds(on)=0.0612, R j-c=1°C/W Diode Vd=0.7V, Rj-c=1.5°C/W a) Determine the power dissipated by the MOSFET and the diode. b) If the heatsink temperature is to remain below Th=80°C while operating in an ambient temperature of 25°C, what is maximum value for heatsink's thermal resistance? c) Considering the values computed in a) and b), what would be the value of the heatsink temperature Th if we remove the thermal washers of the MOSFET and diode.
