4. Consider the development of BMW wind farm (made of 8 turbines each of 1MW rating) requiring a total capital cost of $10 million including installation and setup cost. Assume the following: - The project is entitled for a rebate of 4% of the total capital cost, and - The project will be financed with a complete loan. The loan is offered for 20 years at 5% interest rate. The total O&M costs is $160,000 per year. - The turbine ( and so the plant) capacity factor (CF) is 0.32 - Project life time is 20 years Calculate the energy cost in $/kWh in the first year.
