if we acquired gix.y ) image which was corrupted by the addition of electronic gaussian noise , n ( x , y ) = 40 to a constant abject f ( x , y ) = 1000 : that is . g ( x , y ) = f ( x.y ) + nix.y ) . if we repeated this type of acquisition 8 times and took the average of the eight Images , what would be the expected variance of the averaged Images ?
