Q2 (a) Two single-phase voltage sources, Vi and V2 are connected by parallel line impedance of Zl1 = 1 + j21 and Zl2 = 3+j1 as shown in Figure Q2(a). If, V1 = 230210° Vrms and V2 = 240220° Vrms (i) Analyze the current supplied and received by the sources of V, and V2 respectively. (6 marks) (ii) Determine the complex power for each source. (4 marks) (iii) Based on the real and reactive power, explain whether each of sources is supply or receive power. (2 marks) (iv) Draw the power triangle of source, V2.
