We have to design a schmitt-trigger circuit(figure 6) for a
street light control system. The specifications are as follows, 𝑽𝑻𝑯
= 𝟒 𝑽, 𝑽𝑻𝑳 = 𝟐 𝑽.
Choose the values 𝑜𝑓 𝑹𝟏, 𝑹𝟐, 𝑽𝑳, 𝑽𝑯 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑽𝑹𝑬𝑭 which satisfy the
given requirements. [10 Marks]
Use activation voltage 𝑽𝜸(𝒅𝒊𝒐𝒅𝒆)= 0.6V, 𝑽𝜸(𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓)= 0.5V,
