Identify the important features of the characteristic by making notes on your sketch. (4 Marks) d) Draw the circuit symbol of a Zener diode and describe its I-V characteristic. By drawing a circuit and suitable waveform diagrams show how two Zener diodes may be used as a clamp to shunt potentially damaging voltages to the supply rails.
