Switch 1 of class C chopper is controlled by a pulse having period T and a duty cycle K while switch 2 compliments switch 1 operation . Draw the waveforms of the armature current ( ia ) then perform mathematical analysis to derive explicit expressions for the maximum ( Imax ) and minimum ( Imin ) of the machine armature current .
